In Persistence of Memory utilizes beautiful, fierce, expansive, playful and gestural movement to pursue the imperfection of memory.

Through the choreography of bodies, image, space and sound, the dance unfolds and enfolds the audience. In July 2016, the work was seen on a rooftop terrace as a full evening experience with live music, vibrant costumes by designer Asa Thornton and hundreds of yards of fabric cut by Seattle based visual artist Celeste Cooning.

In Persistence of Memory was developed through a CUNY Dance Residency on the rooftop terrace of John Jay College, exploring movement and story and culminating amazing finale collaboration.
